**Quick answer**

There is no live status dashboard yet. Incidents affecting the gateway (gw.metroproxies.com), the API or payments are listed on this page with their dates. If a request fails, first check whether the problem is the gateway, the target site or the city you asked for, using the steps below, then write to support@metroproxies.com.

## Which incidents have been recorded?

| Date | Component | What happened |
| --- | --- | --- |
| — | — | No incident recorded on this site's current version (18 October 2026). |

## Is it the gateway, the target or the city?

1. **Country only:** `USERNAME-country-us` to an IP lookup page. If this fails too, it may be the gateway or your credentials (a 407 error means credentials).
2. **Your city:** add `-state-xx-city-name`. If only this fails, the city has no matching IP online at the moment: City availability varies; the checkout shows what is online.
3. **Your target:** if the lookup works but your target fails, the target is refusing or blocking the request, or it is on our blocked list (Banking, government and payment-portal sites, plus SMTP (email-sending) ports 25, 465 and 587).

The [curl page](https://metroproxies.com/docs/curl/) has the commands and the meaning of the common errors.

## How do I report a problem?

Email support@metroproxies.com with the time and time zone, the username with its targeting (not the password), the command or tool, and the error. Email replies within 12 hours, 7 days a week.
